The US Tennis Academy is based at Forus Sports Centers located in Tondi, Viimsi, and Nõmme, as well as in the Audentes hall. Both the Tondi and Viimsi centers have garnered commendation from international top-tier tennis players. These state-of-the-art sports centers offer a range of amenities, including childcare services, dining options, and various sports medicine providers, not to mention access to the esteemed Golden Club fitness facility.
Forus Spordikeskus Tondi
FORUS Sport Center Tondi boasts a total of 17 meticulously maintained tennis courts, all of which adhere to international competition standards. This includes 7 outdoor clay-sand courts, 7 indoor Plexicushion Competition hard-surfaced courts, and 3 indoor carpeted courts. In February 2014, the center inaugurated the Children's Hall, equipped with 5 mini-tennis courts tailored for the youngest players, as well as a delightful training hall named Võilill. Additionally, the same hall houses 6 badminton training courts featuring a Taraflex cover. In August 2016, the center introduced 4 top-tier squash courts, fully compliant with international competition criteria.
FORUS Sports Center Tondi (formerly Tondi Tennis Center and Tere Tennis Center) is a versatile sports complex where enthusiasts can engage in tennis, badminton, and squash. Alongside the US Tennis Academy, the facility houses the esteemed Golden Club fitness club, and clubs dedicated to tennis, badminton, and squash for adult enthusiasts. The building also hosts various providers of additional sports and health services, including the Šivaya massage salon, Sinu Arst Tervisestudio, the Innomedica sports medicine office, and a Pilates room. Reval Cafe offers a delectable and health-conscious menu, while the Sportland Tennis store stocks a wide range of premium sports equipment. The center even provides a supervised playroom, free for club members. For added convenience, the center offers access to an underground heated garage for parking.
Forus Spordikeskus Viimsi
FORUS Sports Center in Viimsi (formerly Karulaugu Sports Center) features 4 hard courts and 2 carpeted courts. The carpeted courts are sheltered under a canopy, with walls that can be raised automatically to allow play in the open air during warm weather, while providing protection from the rain.
FORUS Sports Center Viimsi, inaugurated in the autumn of 2018, is a versatile sports complex that encompasses a range of activities under one roof. Here, you can engage in tennis, ball games, wrestling, table tennis, dance, football, and more. The facility also houses the esteemed Golden Club fitness club, alongside various sports clubs and providers of additional health services. Viimsi boasts a full-sized ball game field complete with stands accommodating 700-800 spectators. The Viimsi Basketball club predominantly operates on this court. In addition to racquetball courts, the USTA in Viimsi also hosts the Golden Dance Club dance school under the guidance of head coach Martin Parmas. Additional services are offered by the Physiotherapy Clinic, Sports Medicine Foundation, Elegance beauty salon, and Viimsi Therapy Center. Karulaugu Pesto offers a wholesome and delectable menu. The center further provides a supervised playroom with a babysitter, available free of charge for club members. To enhance convenience, an underground garage is available for parking.
Forus Spordikeskus Nõmme
Forus Spordikeskus Nõmme boasts six outdoor courts, all of which are surfaced with TopClay, a hybrid clay-sand material that closely replicates the playing characteristics of a natural clay-sand court. The entire court construction allows for water permeability, ensuring immediate use after rain.
Maintenance requirements for courts surfaced with TopClay are notably reduced, leading to an extended lifespan and availability for play. Alongside the outdoor courts, the tennis center also features an indoor hall with a single court, slated for renovation in the near future. The Nõmme tennis club has a rich and longstanding history, with its statute officially registered as early as July 17, 1929. The courts themselves were constructed in the late thirties.
Audentes Tennisehall
Tondi Tennis Center also manages the Audentes Tennis Hall, equipped with 5 Plexicushion Competition hard-covered indoor courts. The hall is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Forus Sports Center Tondi, and it serves as the venue for several USTA regular training sessions.
